Basic 13 Amp AGA

Did you know that you can convert your traditional AGA cooker model to 13-amp electric?

Converting your cooker is not only easier and costs less than buying a new one, it also comes with a range of benefits including lower running costs and versatility in the kitchen.

It retains everything you love about a traditional gas/oil/solid fuel Aga, operating off a standard electrical socket. The 13amp Conversion utilises the traditional design of the convection and conduction of heat that the British Aga is known for. As the name suggests, a 13amp fused spur socket is required to run the electric element placed inside the burner.

Our 13amp electric conversion looks, feels and works in exactly the same way as your oil/gas or solid fuel Aga but with added extra control. No oven heating waiting times like other electric conversions.

Most importantly there’s no burner to clean. No PCB Boards or fans are used which means maintenance is minimal and low cost – just a safety check every two and a half years or so.

Even though you have the bonus still of the constant warmth from the Aga, because it has been designed and improved over the years with modern insulation you are literally heating your kitchen with something equivalent to a 100-watt light bulb.

It’s the central hub of the family home and huge savings can be made by not using other white goods.

So, if you are considering a greener choice but keep the Aga life you know and love then the 13amp electric Aga is the way forward.

Plus, no more worrying about carbon monoxide or gas leaks, no heat loss up the chimney, no fire hazard and a saving on the service intervals.

Some of these benefits include:

  • No more frequent servicing

  • No chimneys or flue

  • Oven thermostat controls the heat to your desired level

  • It’s cleaner and friendly to the environment

  • Reduce consumption of fuel

  • Reduce energy bills

  • More flexibility in positioning in your house
